Storm damage update: we took photos immediately after the storm, sent them to insurance company, now compiling estimates to send to them. Michelle got an estimate for the playground. Bill got estimate included sign and lattice work around a/c unit. On December 11, the Strategic Planning Committee should be meeting and will discuss it. Drucye and Bill will work on a temporary sign, a vinyl banner; Drucye will design sign and email it, and will tell how much it costs. Bill will work on frame or support for sign. Larry is trying to get burning permits, we will need 20-30 people for burning around December 10.
Consecration Sunday results & 2012 Budget- Dave & Gene- Dave sent summary, pledges are up to about $185,000 ($145,000 last year); we have 2 fairly good pledges still to come in, estimated at $20,000. We could be up 40% from last year. We had 13 new pledges. ¾ of pledges increased from last year. The whole concept of the Consecration Sunday project worked, people really stepped up.
Gene went over budget report. Discussed expenses, individual areas, and potentially implementing a policy on raises. We may start a Compensation Committee-Dave & Jeff will talk about who should be on committee.
