LENT – A SEASON OF RECONCILIATION at St. Nicholas
Lent, which means “spring,” is a season of reflection, prayer, and healing. It’s also a time to be reconciled to God and one another, to fix those relationships that are broken. We invite you to join us on during Lent as we deepen our faith and strengthen our relationships. In addition to our Sunday Lenten services at 8:30am and 11:00am, we invite you to:
Tuesday, February 12, 6:30pm: Mardi Gras Celebration with oysters, traditional jambalaya, etouffe, and gumbo!
Wednesday, February 13, 6:30pm: Ash Wednesday service with Imposition of Ashes and Holy Communion. If you can’t make the service, Fr. Jeff will be available at the church from 1:00-5:00pm to hear confession, offer absolution & counsel, and impose ashes.
Tuesday, February 26, 6:30pm: Lenten Series Dinner & Program – Stan Meiburg, Chair of the Commission on Environmental Stewardship, will speak on Reconciliation with Creation.
