“God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and truth.”
How does one worship in Spirit and in truth? Spirit is that part of us that often does not show its face in our being. There are some people who show their spirit by their actions but there are others who keep their spirit hidden deep, in the chasm of their soul. How do we pull the spirit out and worship our Lord?
For some the spirit is revealed in music and art, their faces showing forth radiance when they worship and sing praises to their God. In others, perhaps the spirit shows forth in their interaction with children. Still there are others who reach out and lay hands to bring comfort and healing.
We are all told that we have God-given gifts and to worship in spirit we need to acknowledge and use our gifts to serve others in the spirit of love. Very simply put, God is love. If your life conforms to the truth set forth by Christ, you will naturally worship in spirit and truth.
