The Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church will be in Atlanta in a few weeks for several events, including the national vergers’ conference. Eucharist at that event is open to the public. The service will take place on Friday, October 13 at 12noon at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 435 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta.
This is a unique opportunity to hear Bishop Curry preach and be inspired by his vision of the Jesus Movement. A carpool will depart at 9:30 from St. Thomas, Columbus.

The service is from 12- 1:30, and if you wish we will make reservations for a late lunch at Max Lager’s Grill which is just a few blocks away. If you would like to carpool, please let us know.

Bishop Curry Keynote Address at Candler School of Theology

This event will include a keynote address by the Presiding Bishop on moral leadership. There will also be a panel discussion including the Presiding Bishop Michael Curry, Bishop Wright from the Diocese of Atlanta; The Rev. Dr. Robert M. Franklin, Jr. from Candler School of Theology; and The Rev. Kim Jackson, chaplain of the Absalom Jones Episcopal Center.
