The Annual Parish Meeting and election of new Vestry members will be held Sunday, January 14 at 9:45 am.

The Annual Parish Meeting is an important event in the life of the congregation and is required by canon law. At the brief meeting, you will receive reports of all that God has done through our ministries in 2017. We will then vote three new members to the Vestry.

The Vestry is the administrative body of lay leaders of St. Nicholas. They are elected by the congregation to 3-year terms. They meet monthly to pray, discuss, and make important decisions. Each Vestry member is responsible for a certain area of ministry. They are all hard workers and each brings their specific gifts to make St. Nicholas a wonderful, Spirit-filled place.Only official members of the congregation may vote, although ALL people are invited and encouraged to attend the whole meeting. To be a member, you have to have been confirmed or received communicant in good standing at St. Nicholas or have had your membership letter transferred to St. Nicholas. If you have a question about this or wish to become an official member, please see Sue Halmrast or Martha Dimon. Remember that not being a member does not mean you are not a part of St. Nicholas.

We will hear about our budget for 2018. Finally, we will take any questions, suggestions, and comments from our parishioners at that time.

So please make every effort to attend on Sunday, January 14 at 9:45 am and hear how St. Nicholas is continuing to be an example of Christ’s love!
