Children are vitally important to the life of our congregation and we hope to engage them as much as we engage adults and youth. Jesus had a lot to say about letting children come to him and that the Kingdom of God belongs even such as these. We believe that it truly takes a village to raise a child, and St. Nicholas strives to be a safe place for children, where they know they are welcomed, loved, and cared for, and not silenced, pushed aside, or separated from the rest of the congregation. Children have a lot to teach us about faith, and so we think it’s important that while we teach them about our faith and traditions, we are open to hearing what they have to say about their relationships with God.
