CALL FOR BOOKS!
The Friends of Harris County Public Libraries need your gently used books, DVDs and CDs for their BIG BOOK SALE at Sunnyside Community Club from April 12 through April 15.
Make a note of the times and plan to come early for the best selections and later for the deepest discounts. Have fun buying books at great prices and help send free books to kids and add books and special programs at our libraries. ,
Thursday, April 12th 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm Preview for Members; Others $5.00
Friday, April 13th Noon to 8:00 pm
Saturday, April 14th 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Books Half Priced All Day
Sunday, April 15th 1:00 to 6:00 pm BAG OF BOOKS SALE No bag over $6.00
You may take books to the Hamilton Library or call Connie Blackmon or Katherine Johnson for help.
In collaboration with Georgia’s Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy, the Friends of Harris County Public Libraries send FREE new books every month to 600 Harris County children age four or younger. Another 600 children have graduated from the program. Since 2007 a total of over 28,000 books have been sent to children registered for the program which boasts a proven track record of preparing children to read and love books Questions? Celebrate Lent at St. Nicholas Episcopal Church 
The 2012 theme of our annual Lenten Series is Making Healthy Christians. We invite the whole community to our programs which will be on the Tuesdays of Lent at 6:30pm. Each program will begin with a meal followed by a keynote speaker. All are welcome!
