6:00-10:00 p.m.

Sweet Home Plantation, Pine Mountain

lobsterfest-127.jpgLobsterfest is our biggest Parish Life event at St. Nicholas. We ship down a truckload of fresh Maine lobsters for a fantastic dinner full of fun and fellowship. It’s also an opportunity to invite the community, neighbors, and friends to get to know the people of St. Nicholas a little better. Lobsterfest is also our biggest fundraiser of the year, with proceeds going to fund the ministries of St. Nicholas.

Beautiful Sweet Home Plantation will once again be the site for St. Nicholas’ Eighth Annual Lobsterfest to be held on Friday, September 24.  The grounds will be open from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with 1-1/2 lb. fresh Maine lobster or beef tenderloin dinners being served from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.  Children’s meals may be reserved, and a beer and wine bar is available.  Delicious homemade desserts will top off your meal. You can purchase meals through PayPal below.

An exciting Cash Raffle featuring a $5,000 first prize and $1,000 second prize will be held with the winning tickets drawn the night of Lobsterfest.  You need not be present to win.  Tickets are priced at one for $30, two for $50 and 5 for $100 and may be purchased below, by calling the church office, or from a member of St. Nicholas.  To view more information about the Raffle click here. You can purchase a raffle ticket through PayPal below.

This year’s Silent Auction has wonderful items just waiting for you.  Vacation homes, football ticket packages, handmade jewelry, original artwork, and  handcrafted clothing are just a few of the many offerings.  Be sure to take some time to browse and bid.

Music will be provided by the Traditions .  A recent article praised these fine musicians saying,  “Light swing standards, popular songs given a twist of jazz flavor, blues and Dixieland tunes make up their eclectic repertoire.  This trio’s energy and passion for the music will have you tapping your toes and humming along….The only thing left for you is to sit back and soak it all in!”

Lobsterfest is a relaxed, fun evening and a great opportunity to meet and chat with others in our community.  Now is the time to make your reservations or put together a table for eight, and purchase some raffle tickets.  Who knows, you may be the lucky winner.  Come and join in!  We look forward to seeing you!

All proceeds from Lobsterfest benefit the ministries of St. Nicholas Episcopal Church. What are the ministries of St. Nicholas? Explore our website to see what all we do!
